My header image and other image showed up blurry

  I just started doing the blog thing so I’m literally blind! I’ve tried looking for answer in google but I still can’t fix it.

  The theme I’m using is the Orvis theme (it said the page width and the image width should at least be 924 px with unlimited height). I create something with indesign and I saved it in PNG format, max resolution, and 924 width. When I add it to the image gallery in wordpress it looks blurry, and when I resize the image with the edit tool to smaller/bigger size it still looks the same.

  I’ve tried go to setting>media and change the max size of thumbnail, medium, and large image but the problem still exists.

  Can anyone help me?
