    my header image in the title of the blog vanished for some reason?

    Hi there,

    Are you referring to your site heartoftexas.wordpress.com?

    In looking at your recent activity, I see that you deleted a lot of files from your media library on December 19th 2013. It also looks like you purchased a space upgrade for 10GB on the same day.

    Were you up against your space limit, and deleting files to save space, before you purchased that upgrade?

    I can see that the file that is your header image (hot_logo31.jpg) was deleted in that batch of images back in December, and while image deletions are final, you can go to Appearance>Header and re-upload the header file from your computer and set it again as the header graphic.
