Hi @wrecktheroad,
If you would like forum members to help you with this, please make your site public so we can see it.

Hi @wrecktheroad, go to Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the following custom CSS to remove the overlay color on your header image in Ixion.
.header-overlay::before { background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); } -

I am having the same problem with this theme, except when I go to Customize, it does not give a CSS option.

Does that mean that there is no way to remove the greywash that is over the header image?

Hi @karajdee, I just looked at your account for https://eatonyourfeet.com/, and you have the WordPress.com Premium Plan upgrade, and I looked in your customizer and see the CSS section. Screenshot: https://cldup.com/9yVidhWwBO.png
If you still are not seeing it, I would suggest logging out of WordPress.com, clear your browser cache and cookies, and then log back in and check again.
Let me know how it goes.

Oh @karajdee, that is embarrassing. Sorry about that. Yes, you would need the WordPress.com Premium Plan upgrade which includes Custom Design and the ability to add custom CSS.
