  Hi @sandsend68 it sounds like you have marked one of your older posts as a “sticky” post. Can you edit the older post and remove that setting?

  To clarify, a sticky post is (by design) supposed to stick to your homepage and not fall off when newer posts are published. More info on how to find the setting here: https://wordpress.com/support/post-and-page-visibility/#sticky-posts-posts-only
