Hi! Just to check, are you wanting to have your blog posts be the first thing that visitors see when they go to http://telpsycblog.wordpress.com/ or did you prefer to have a dedicated home page, so that visitors would then need to get to a separate page where all your blog posts are listed?
I do see that you have a couple of pages set up: “About Me” and “To stand up, or stand by?”.
It looks like that second page is intended to be a blog post, if I understand correctly? If so, then it’s worth ensuring that when you create posts, they’re created in the Posts section of your site, rather than the Page section. More about posts vs pages here.
If you’re wanting this (and other) posts to be separate from your home page, then I could suggest first moving your home page content out of the ‘Page’ template which applies to all pages, and putting it in a dedicated page of its own. Then you could also copy your “To stand up, or stand by?” page, into a blog post in Posts > All Posts. Lastly, you may wish to set up a dedicated ‘Blog’ page where visitors can find this and other posts.
As a process, I’d suggest the following:
- Head into Appearance > Editor and copy your homepage content that’s there, so you can then move it into a dedicated page. We have a “Move content from the Site Editor” guide which may be useful for you.
- Following the above, you can set the page you create as your Home page so it’s the first thing people see when they get to your site. We have a guide for that here:
Setting a ‘static’ front/home page - Similar to step 1, you’d need to copy all the content of “To stand up, or stand by?”, and create a new blog post for it instead. This ‘Copy all blocks’ guide refers to that.
- We do of course also have a guide for how to set up a dedicated Blog page for all your posts too.
- Last, but not least – here’s some information regarding the Site Editor, and setting up a ‘Navigation block’ there so that visitors can find the different parts of your site:
I hope that helps, if you do have any other questions let us know!
