my hosting is through domain.com, can I still use wordpress?

  I’m currently working on redesigning our production website and have a web designer am working with. We want to use wordpress as our design layout, but our hosting is through domain.com. Wanted to know if I purchase a pro version of wordpress am I still hosting and my domain tied through domain.com? or will word press allow it to.

  Hello there,

  If you have a designer, chances are, you don’t need a WordPress.com site. It sounds as if you’ll simply need to maintain your WordPress.org site.

  Here are the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  A Premium upgrade on WordPress.com will not work on your self-hosted WordPress.org site.
