my hosting provider stated that my site was showing high cpu / ram usage

I have just added widget contact requests to my sidebar. Could this be causing an issue?

Howdy!
WordPress.com is actually your hosting provider for chrysalis-estates.co.uk since you’ve mapped your domain here. It looks like your domain is performing really well judging by a website speed test like Pingdom shown here:
Can you explain where you received this message? Did you perhaps receive it from your registrar (where you registered your domain)?
-
Yes, I received it from pickaweb with whom I first registered the domain name and who I presumed it was registered with. They suggested that I needed a VPS and stated that they had suspended hosting the account with them as it was found to be using too much CPU/RAM resources causing issues for other customers on the same server.

Hi Chrysalis,
That’s odd as your domain is loading your WordPress.com site, which means WordPress.com is taking the load of your info. It looks like your name servers are still pointed to Pickaweb:
ns1.pickaweb.co.uk ns2.pickaweb.co.ukCan you try changing the name servers to point to WordPress.com?
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM NS2.WORDPRESS.COM NS3.WORDPRESS.COMYou’ll just need to login to your registrar to do this. Additional instructions can be found here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#how-to-change-your-name-servers
It looks like you have WordPress.com name servers in place currently, but they look like email records. The main name servers for your domain are still the Pickaweb ones. Changing them to WordPress.com should result in Pickaweb realizing your site isn’t “hosted” with them anymore.
