My html text widget showing recent posts for one category is not updating.

  I have a text widget on the sidebar to call up recent posts for one category (because I only want to show one – News). I have also added recent posts (html) on home page. Neither the widget or the home page are updating with recent posts? see http://www.rabley.wordpress.com …any advice welcome. Thanks

  Currently, it looks like both sections are updated with the latest post from your News category as shown here:
