    Hi. How can I change the color of the hyperlinks in my texts? I need them to be blue or red because its literally the same font as everything else and they go unnoticed.

    Thanks!

  • The most direct way to change the link colors is by editing the CSS. You’ll need to have the premium or business level plan in order to do that. (See details at https://wordpress.com/pricing/) If you have the upgraded plan, let me know and I can help you with the process of editing the CSS.

    If you are looking for a free option to change the links that appear inside the text of your pages and post, here’s what you can do:

    1. Make the links as you normally do (https://en.support.wordpress.com/links/)

    2. Then highlight the words in the link and use the Text Color button in the editor to change the color(see #5 on the second row of buttons, as explained here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/)

    Hope this helps!

    @sbetow,

    If your text links are the same font and color as other text, and not otherwise clearly identified (italics, underscore, etc.) then it’s almost certainly an unintended effect. Staff will want to investigate this behavior to determine the cause. I suggest that you provide an example of a link, giving the post or page (URL) in which it appears, and identifying the paragraph, the precise text that is linked, etc.

    Then add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.
