My image in gravatar widget being hijacked. It briefly displays correctly, then is switches over to random link bait. I’ve looked at things from my side and all looks right.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The image appears the same in your widget and in your Gravatar profile when I look at them.
When you were seeing it change, had you recently changed your profile image, and was it switching between page loads? If that’s the case, it may have just been a browser cache issue.

Yesterday, the image had been hijacked. The image would display briefly and get replaced by an ad. The ‘This is Me’ line got replace with a link to a refresh to the ad service. Gosh, I only wish i took note of what ad service hijacked the image. Today, it appears to be functioning correctly again.

Very strange indeed. I’m glad it’s working for you now, maybe try to grab a screenshot if it happens again.

the problem comes and goes. Right, it’s not doing it. I have to wonder if it is somehow related to this, How a banner ad for H&R Block appeared on apple.com—without Apple’s OK , http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2013/04/how-a-banner-ad-for-hs-ok/

No. I am a Frontier customers. Whose to say if they are or someone else isn’t injecting code. I have Little Snitch installed on my machine. The next time is happens, I’m going to check for access to the r66t website.

It is entirely possible that they could be injecting ads. That might explain why no one else is seeing it.
You might want to call them.

It’s still transient in nature. I know i’d tried in different browsers yesterday when it happened. I considered the results insignificant and can’t remember the results.
It could be one of my extensions. I highly doubt that as the extensions I have installed tend to be reputable and well recognized ad blockers.
Gotta wait tell the next time it’s happening to explore further.

If it does happen again, I definitely recommend starting with all of your extensions disable to see if that makes a difference.
