My images from a portfolio do not show up on the home page

Hello! I cannot get my portfolio of photos to be displayed on the main page. How should I ativate it, please?
I would like that all my uploaded photos could be visible through a one touch active title on the main page.
Or if they could be also visible right below the main paragraph of information, it would be also good.
I would need to upload every day many images to the same portfolio. What would be the best way to set it up, please?

If you want your front page to look like that in the Illustratr theme demo, then you’ll need to set the front page to display a static page (see the Set a Static “Home” Page support page), and assign the Portfolio Page Template to the static front page, as described in the Illustratr theme guide.
Alternatively, you could use portfolio shortcode in a static front page assigned to a template other than the Portfolio Page Template.

The number of portfolio projects to display per page is set at Writing Settings > Your Custom Content Types > Portfolio Projects (bottom of page https://makeaboat.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-writing.php). A setting of 9 will display the 9 most recent projects, with earlier projects displayed on additional pages, each additional page opened by a “+” icon just below the projects.

Hello, thank you for your answer. I have only 2 projects and I need to add images to one of them called See the boats. When I go to that Project and click Edit to add more images to it, it allows me to do so by the add media. However, the additional images do not display on the actual web page.
Could you tell me, step by step, please, how to do it?

@makeaboat, assuming you wanted the front page to look more like the Illustratr demo, would you like to try the instructions listed here under “Portfolio Page Template” ?

What do I do wrong?The last time I looked, I noticed that you had three projects in the portfolio, but I don’t recall if “New Boats” was one of them. Today, I see that “New Boats” appears as your most recent project. Do you see that now?
Are you using a gallery in the “See the Boat” project? A gallery would ordinarily center the columns of images. Yours is left-aligned, which makes me curious as to why.
