my images never upload properly

  I almost never get the images I want to upload to show at the top of the post to show correctly. The image area is long and rectangular and I can’t figure out how to size and crop my images to fit. Please advise.

  Hi there, it seems you are using the twenty ten theme, which is now retired. I think the only available image options for that theme were at least 940px wide by 198px high.
  I don’t think you can change this size but maybe try a newer theme. I think your blog can be easily adapted.
