My images won't publish

Hi, I’m new to WordPress and just downloaded a set of Google Knols to my WordPress site. I started to clean up some article text layouts (differences in presentation between the two sites), when I saved changes and republished I lost all the images in the published version of “Healthy Organizations from Conflict Management”. In editing, the images are there and have WordPress URLs. It’s just I can’t get them to show up in the published article.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you linking to remotely hosted images? Or are the images found in your WordPress.com Media Library?

All images are in WordPress.com Media Library and linked to the article. The images can be seen in place in “edit” mode, but lost when published and seen in “view”. Where the image should be, a line is shown.
Thanks for showing me the Media Library and its capabilities- plenty of space left.

Thanks timethief, I’ll do that. I had initially tried that but got a message the Support team were off over the week-end, so thought I’d try this Forum. Site forums, and people like you who support them, are a real boon in helping to learn. So I’m sure I’ll be back.
All other images on my other Google Knol transferred articles are alright, the only difference was the amount of re-editing I’ve done to reset the text back to a consistent format. Don’t know if this had a knock on effect of some kind.
