My Import from Tumblr is stuck (again)

Hi again! Please can you reset my Tumblr importer? It’s stuck on the ‘Importing’ phase but no new posts have been imported.

Hi! I’ve reset the importer now; I should note that we’ve been seeing a recent bug (currently being investigated) with some Tumblr imports – I don’t know if yours is necessarily affected by that as it didn’t “look” the same as such, but if you do find it’s stuck again, let us know and we can recheck.

CORRECTION! It’s Importing from RurpleFINDScc (which I do not want imported) as well as RurplePlaysSims which is the one I clicked on. They’re both saying import.
Please can you cancel the imports from RurpleFINDScc blog? Many thanks!

Hi again, it’s got them both stuck ‘In Progress’ and I found it odd as I only pressed on one of them to import. :( Either way, no imported posts have appeared.

I noticed when I checked that there are two active imports, but neither one appears to be correct. They both have a generic
.tumblr.comurl instead of the true blog address, and identical page counts, etc.On our end it’s not looking quite right either. For now I’ve disconnected Tumblr here: https://rurpleplayssims.wordpress.com/wp-admin/admin.php?import=tumblr
Can you reconnect for us but don’t start any imports for now. We’d like to take a look at how it appears before any imports are started, thanks! -
Hi again. I reconnected the account but it’s still doing the same thing you described (with the .tumblr.com url) and both are still “In Progress”. I did not press the Import button, it was loading that when I reconnected the account. Thanks for your help :)

Although your situation is slightly different, this very well may be related to the recent bug we’ve encountered with Tumblr imports. I have reported your situation to our devs, but have also reset the importer on our end once again. We’ll keep you updated on what we find, but in the meantime, feel free to try to import again in hopes that the content successfully transfers.

Hi again :)
Once I logged in, it’s still showing the url as .tumblr that doesn’t have my blog’s name in, like you’ve previously noted. I pressed Import on RurplePlaysSims only and it made both of them showing Import in Progress, so the bug is still active.

Hi again, thought I’d check in again as it’s been over a week. The importer is still saying Import In Progress and nothing new has been imported. :)

Hi there–is there still a bug with the importer? I have been trying to import for 36ish hours now and it still says “in progress.” The import ability is why I chose WordPress, so I really hope I can make it work! Thank you!
