My Import from Tumblr is stuck (and has been for over 6 months!)

Good afternoon,
I am reopening this issue as it was marked as resolved (not by me) when it’s not been. The previous change support chain is here.
I was hoping there has been some progress in this issue, seeing as it’s been months since the last update. I don’t see the point in continuing to pay for the WordPress site if the Import feature isn’t fixed. The whole point that I use this site for is to backup my Tumblr blog with the Import feature.
Just checked the Import tool. It’s still stuck on Importing both when I only ever clicked on the RurplePlaysSims one. No new posts have appeared on the WordPres site. The last one that imported correctly was on the 6th January. I have cleared out my browser cache and I have tried on other browsers. I have been patiently waiting for quite a while for the issue to be fixed and have only sent requests for help on a handful of times.
I’m now at the stage where I will cancel my payment for the domain if the issue is still not resolved by the time it comes up for renewal in less than a month. I apologise if this comes across as rude, as that’s not my intention. I’m just a bit more than frustrated that it’s taken so long to resolve this issue, albeit I’ll admit I am not a programmer of any kind.

I apologize for the issues you’re facing with this. To explain what happened with the previous thread, the forum software closes old threads automatically, and that happened before there was a fix, so it got marked as resolved.
The underlying issue with this has been resolved, and because we haven’t reset the importer state since then, you still see the stuck import. I’ve just reset the importer again. Could you try importing again and let us know how it goes this time?
I appreciate your patience with this. :) Hopefully, it will work smoothly this time.

Thank you for replying, I’d hoped it had been a technical thing that closed the feed when the issue wasn’t resolved. I’m sorry if the last post came off as rude.
Good news and bad news to report:
Good news – the tumblr importer has reset and all the blogs have the ‘Import this blog‘ button, so all good there.
Bad news – When I click to import RurplePlaysSims – it says that “You can only have one running import at a time. Please wait for the current one to complete.”
But nothing is importing, and no new posts have been imported.
If you can help, that’d be great! Thank you in advance.

Ok, I went ahead and reset the importer. Can you reconnect to your Tumblr account and start that again? Let us know if you still run into trouble!
