My import from Xanga has taken more than 24 hours, please reset?

My import from Xanga has taken more than 24 hours, and it was reset by previously. However, the new import has taken more than 24 hours as well. Is there something wrong with the file? Why is it stuck twice?

Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually.
If you are following those steps and still run into errors, a couple things that often help are trying a different browser (like Chrome) or using the WordPress importer rather than the Xanga-specific one.

Hi Eurello! The new import is again stuck! But, I think the contents have come in. I still have another 3 files to be imported from Xanga- 6 years of blog! Why is it getting stuck again and again?

Hi Vivek – Sometimes it just doesn’t reset itself even after everything has come over. I’ve reset it for you again so you can import your next file. If it keeps being a problem, let me know. I’ll email you so you can send me the files and I can import the rest on my end.

Hi Eurello. It’s stuck again! But, I think the posts from that file has come over. I have another 2 files left to be imported.
