My imported wordpress.com site will not show on my wordpress.org site

Trying to export my wordpress.com to my new wordpress.org.. I’ve followed exactly the instructions of every tutorial I can find (which all say the same thing of course) yet my wordpress.com isn’t showing. If I try a re-import, it says all of my files already exist- Not sure what’s wrong? I’m using a purchased theme, and have my pages set already. Changes I’ve made to the wordpress plugin show on my site, but no imported posts or files.

It’s possible your export file is too large for your new hosting provider, some of whom have limits.
You can try doing a new export by selecting posts/pages rather than all content, and breaking your content into smaller chunks by choosing ranges of dates. Then you can import each of those files separately.
If that doesn’t work, please let me know what your .org site address is, and I can also try generating an export file for you.
