Well a month later the mystery is solved! I finally got round to contacting the excellent help service at ipadio about this problem.
I had changed my password on WordPress and hadn’t changed it in Share Media on ipadio, which is what help at ipadio suggested was the problem:
“The WordPress cross-posting should also be working for your account – please check your username and password information when getting this to work.”
I tested it this morning and here is the proof:
