My Jetpack Social Basic annual subscription is not annual?

    I was using Jetpack Social for a long time. Then Jetpack introduced the subscription plan.

    Since I like the plugin I decided to go for it. The first payment was $1 (limited time offer) and it clearly says it is an annual subscription. That was on December 27th 2022.

    Now I get an email that I will be billed $109.81 on January 27th 2023.

    How is that possible if I paid for an annual subscription?

    Looking at Jetpack’s pricing page, it looks like it’s $1 for the first month, then you’re billed for the remaining 11 months after that:

    Thank you. That was a helpful response.

    My understanding (of that Jetpack wording) was that this was a “first month” offer. E.g. since this is a new service our costumers in the first month get this special offer. Obviously that was a mistake on my part, but they should definitely change that wording for non-native english speakers.
