Hi there!
I’ve been looking at the logs and noted that you’re deleted the Twitter connection about the time the post was published. Have you done that to reconnect publicize after it failed? This is usually the first step to fix any issues so it would be great to know if you’ve been having problems with the connection afterward. Let us know.

Yes – I deleted and reinstated the Twitter connection after I noticed that the post was missing. I then republished the post and there was no result.

By republish the post, do you mean you set it back to draft and published it again? That won’t do anything, as Publicize will only be triggered the first time a post is published.
To check if reconnecting Twitter worked, you’ll have to publish a brand new post first. If that also doesn’t post to Twitter, don’t change anything further and let us know here so we can take a look.

OK understood. Next post is due Friday evening my time. Will let you know what has happened.

I have made two posts over the last two days and both of them went through to Twitter.
So I guess everything is OK and that it was just a hiccup.

As you said, it must have been some temporary issue and reconnecting the account fixed it.
