My latest post is not showing up!

  I’ve posted two new posts on my blog and only the first one i posted is showing up. I made the post sticky so people can still see it but it’s not on the main page. What do I do?

  May I suggest that you clear your browser cache and cookies?

  I made the post sticky so people can still see it but it’s not on the main page.

  What is the title of that sticky post please? Have you looked in your draft posts for it? If you do locate it then edit it and look at the datestamp in the publish module. Is it correct or not?

  The post I’m talking about is Jeremy Irons? Um . . . It’s showing up now but only if I don’t make it sticky. This hasn’t happened before; normally stick posts show up on the top AND on the main page.

  Do you mind me asking – why are you making it a sticky post? Sticky posts are meant to be used for temporary announcements to your readers. Sometimes they are used for posting index pages. But creating more than one can create an editing nightmare.What we Volunteers are experiencing from time to time is that there are those who have made every post in their blog (no kidding!) a sticky post. I hope that’s not what you are doing and that’s why I’m asking my question above.

  I’m not making every post sticky, only those I want to be on the menu above my first post, because that’s what my theme does. It worked prior to today.

  I’m sorry but I’m still not clear on this. Are you using sticky posts in order to create featured posts with featured images?

  Featured Posts in iTheme2
  iTheme2 also has lets you feature any post you like in it’s featured post section on the home page.
  All you have to do to activate is have a sticky post with a featured image.

  P.S. If your answer is “yes” and I think it will be, do note that I have flagged this thread so it gets moved to the Themes Forum as I suspect you could be encountering a bug and want to bring that to Themes Staff attention.
