My "Latest Post" Photo Preview Dissapeared

Hello Expert,
I am a new blogger and I was messing around with my featured images and I accidentally deleted the featured image for my blog post and now I just have the blog text with no image associated with it UNLESS you click the boring text. Is there a way to have the thumbnail reappear?Also, when I add a block and select an image … then upload… it copies the image twice for two different stories. Please help.

Can you confirm whether or not you’re talking about this section of your homepage?
If so, you need to re-add the Post Featured Image block to the Post Query Loop.
To do so, open your homepage in the page editor. Then, click the icon at the top of the page to open “list view”. Then, click the + sign to open the block template search and search for “post featured image” and add that block to the post template section as noted here:
It likely needs to go above the “post date” block, but you can place it where it looks best for you.
Make sure you save those changes and that should take care of it!
