My lightbox feature does not work anymore

  Hello:
  My lightbox feature does not work anymore it did some time ago without any problem. The only change is the update of WordpPress and my WP Lightbox2 plug in. It does not work on my NEXgen gallery. ALL my images, as well in the individual in the blog as in my NEXgen galleries show now the link to the image in the library. All this worked before the update though.
  I disabled all my plug-ins already one by one. It does not work in Firefox nor in IE
