My 'like' button is not working, even when I am logged in
-
Hi,
My ‘like’ button does not seem to be working, even when I am logged in. At first it was only other wordpress.com sites with their own domain, but somewhere over the last few months it is now even on sites that I had previously been able to ‘like’.
A popup screen comes up (as if I am not logged in) and disappears very quickly (url something like: wordpress.com/public.api/connect…)
Now I can only put a ‘like’ on a post from within the WordPress reader. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have the same problem!
I have found out that the problem disappears when I use the browser Chrome instead of Firefox.

Hey etbc33,
You can try clearing your browser’s cache and see if it works.
To clear browsing data in Chrome, click on the “hamburger” menu on the top right, go to More tools > Clear browsing data. Set the date as “from the beginning of time” and select “Clear cached images and files“.
Restart your browser and hopefully the Like button should start working.

In my case the problem was solved by enabling third-party cookies in my browsers although it is not clear why this should be necessary.
