My link font is entirely different from my text font

I’m a bit bewildered why, when I add a link in a Paragraph, the font is entirely different — and then how to get it to _not_ be different. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a dramatic style change within a paragraph. But besides that — how can I set the font type to be the same as the paragraph. I can easily change the color. Both fonts are set to the default for the Theme. When I go to edit Appearance, both the text and the link seem to be identical.

    Mystifying. Anyone have any clues?

  • Hey there –

Yes, this is an odd situation. I’ve not heard of anybody else having that happen. Are you copy + pasting the content from another place or creating it directly in the post editor?

Let me know which post this is happening on. It would be great if you can leave the link in place so we get a better look at things. Thank you!

That’s me after I’ve changed the text “work?” into a link.

I haven’t done anything else with the theme at all.

  • Very weird. Do you mind resetting the link size under Styles? This link should work, or go to Site Editor > Style > Typography. Then click Link. You’ll have a three-dots “meatball” menu you can use to reset all. That will reset all links through your site, and for whatever reason it does look like a custom size is specified there. Resetting should do the trick, but I’ll want you to take a look and confirm so you can go back if you prefer.
