My link keeps dying

Hi WordPress,
One of the three links in my post keeps dying. It works at first after updating the edited post and then after a few minutes when I click on the link it says “page not found”.
Do you have a suggestion as to what the problem could be?

It sounds like you might be having issues with your browser. Please clear your cache and cookies, then try again.I hope this helps. =)

Do know that if your are inserting advertising or affiliate links and the software is stripping them out you need to read these entries please:

Thanks for the links, I checked them out, but the link that keeps dying on me is simply the link to my company’s website (that company also runs the blog) and I really don’t think it can be considered wrongful affiliate advertising, right? Neither do we reblog somebody else’s posts without permission or anything that’s forbidden according to the Terms of Service.And @mindelson: Thanks for your reply but that didn’t help unfortunately :(
What I don’t get is why the other two links in that post work (they lead to our facebook and twitter pages respectively) but the one leading to the company website doesn’t. Am I doing something wrong without realizing it?

I clicked on your links prior to my original post and was (and still am) able to see the all of the linked pages. I am not getting the error you mention, so I thought your were having a browser issue.Hopefully a more experienced volunteer will see this thread and be able to shed some light on the matter.

@mindelson oh thanks for that info! maybe that’s the problem… i updated my browser and I’m still not able to open that link but maybe it works for everybody else but me, lol.

It appears you have taken up trolling and thread jacking multiple threads with your off topic and out of line copy and paste above to attack Volunteers, despite that fact that we Volunteers do not post into threads unless we have solutions to offer and we have none for you. This does not look good on you. Please stop it. -

No, I just wonder why you are quick to respond here and to other issues but you all blank out a major WP upgrade issue. I respectfully request that you respond to this matter as swiftly as you respond to others!

Have you tried using a different browser such as Google Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer? This is a “shot in the dark”, but has worked for me on occasion.

Apology accepted, of course. :) I am sympathetic. I know how disruptive this upgrade has been for you and for many others. I’m so sorry things appear to be so broken. As for me, I’m keeping my blood pressure down by not posting to my blogs until all the breakage is fixed.
