My LinkedIn publishing connection no longer works. How do I fix this?

    When I publish an article, it no longer posts to my LinkedIn account. I tried pressing the LinkedIn connection setting button, but get an error message about not being able to connect. What can I do to fix this?

    Hi Michael.

    Our team’s aware of an issue with LinkedIn connections not being shared automatically and are working hard to patch things up. I’ll let you know when we hear back on a fix. In the meantime, you’ll still be able to manually share you posts to LinkedIn. Sorry for the trouble!

    Hi Michael.

    Following on from my last message to you, the trouble with LinkedIn connections should now be resolved. Could you please try reconnecting to LinkedIn via Settings > Sharing in WP Admin? Here’s a direct link for you:

    Now if we can get you all to put in direct publishing links to Kifi, Trove and some of the other new Social Media sites…………. LOL. It’s always something.

    Haha. :) I’m glad to hear the LinkedIn connection’s working now! We’re open to suggestions about new services to add to Publicize but we do try to limit the options to those that are most in demand. If you’d like, you can always add a new sharing button for any service you’d like:

    Add Social Share Buttons

    You’ll then be able to easily use the button to manually share to Kifi, Trove, and the like. :)
