  why is my website saying it is not available. It is a long-standing site, but when I do a search it says domain not available. Hugely urgent. Not able to contact you at all

  My long-standing website is saying ‘doesn’t exist’ when I do a search for it. then goes on to say the site cannot be registers as the site is reserves. What is going on?

  It looks like the domain charltonsociety.org is set to forward to the free WordPress.com URL charltonsociety.wordpress.com, which is a site that does not exist – that is why you’re seeing that error message.

  Your site content is actually at charltonsoc.wordpress.com. You would either need to fix your domain forward to point to the correct free WordPress.com URL, or purchase a paid plan and you can use that domain as your primary URL here instead of charltonsoc.wordpress.com.
