My main domain is broken and I don't have access to it

  I’ve been having a really hard time getting my dental practice domain under my name. We’ve been trying to track down the owner forever. So many layers of privacy has made it difficult.

  We were able to get log in information on it. I logged into the old site http://www.promenade-dentistry.com and changed the URL for one of the fields to my wordpress site http://www.promenade-dentist.com.

  Now the old site is broken and I can’t log back in. Is there any way to fix this? I have the FTP username and password but can’t connect to it via filezilla.

  I’m able to see you site when visiting promenade-dentist.com.

  Can you let me know if the end-goal is to point the other domain you mentioned, promenade-dentistry.com, to your WordPress.com site at promenade-dentist.com? If I’m right in that, then you’ll need to follow our guide here on mapping a third-party domain to WordPress.com:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  That guide has some step-by-step instructions that will guide you through. Let me know if you have any extra questions while going through that.
