My main page is not displaying recent post

  My main page is not displaying my most recent post. It is not a post that has been catagorized. I have my settings showing that it is ‘stuck’ to main page but when I search the site it does not appear, only word ‘posts’ is there.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  hi,

  To have “main page .. displaying my most recent post”, refer to the instructions found in @timethief‘s reply in https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/static-front-page-with-latest-posts-page/

  you can create a static front page called for example “Welcome” for your site and a “Blog” page for posts. Create your pages first

  Hi there,

  Of which post are you speaking? I see only one published post on your site, Just what the world needs…another blogger.

  Your other post, Thanks, John Perry, is still a draft, and will only appear on the front page once you publish it.

  Thank you. I went ahead and went with a beginners template and will use that until I become mire familiar with WP.

  @robertallen2017 I think I might have spotted the issue. Did you add it as a page instead of a post? You can check here:
  wordpress.com/pages

  It should be here:
  wordpress.com/posts

  If it isn’t, you can copy the information from the page and paste it into a post.

  If it helps, posts are for news/blog items, and pages are more for static stuff that won’t change frequently (like an about page, or a contact form.) This may help too:
