my main page 'is not found' but when I select any menu category all works

  The main page is not found. All others seem to work (ie http://XXXXXX.wordpress.com/home/ OR http://XXXXXX.wordpress.com/category/news/) work fine BUT not the main one: http://XXXXX.wordpress.com/.

  My blog is currently private as I am still working on it. Could this be the problem?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I tried making it public and it now works but the problem now is that the initial link (danidemilia.wordpress.com.) opens recent posts rather than what I set as the home page, which has the oxygen theme showcase look.
