My Main Tag of Blues doesn't show up in Blues anymore

    This just plain pisses me off. The main genre I write and post on and I don’t want to hear I’m posting too many tags because that’s wrong. Before they changed all this up my Blues Blogs were coming up on Global page under Blues. Now they don’t even show up. What gives WordPress? A little more than unfair.

    In fact not even a tag, it’s a FILED UNDER.

    Never mind. The Category Filed Under used to get it to the global page. Now you have to TAG it as such. Anymoe changes WP? Hope Not.

    Please read this and become aware of the situation. Previously all categories and tags we assigned to our posts redirected to the WordPress.com global tags pages. Only the links displayed by Tags and Categories widgets directed to content in our own blogs. There were only a few situations in which posts would be missing from the WordPress.com global tagging pages.

    After 5 years of members waiting for this change the links now finally direct only to our own content in our own blogs. This demonstrates that Staff are responsive to the long standing requests of many bloggers. The former arrangement was having the Categories and Tag links on posts and the tag links in the sidebar go to completely different pages which was is a violation of accessibility guidelines. The target of a link should be indicated by what the link says.     The links to our posts still appear on the global tags pages as they did before provided the reasons for no display revealed in “missing posts” are not a factor. All that has changed is that the Categories and Tags links appearing either above, below, or beside our posts, depending on the theme we use on our sites, and in our widgets are now directing to our own content.
