Is the monthly chart not showing at all or is it actually showing zero views?
What do you see if you click on the ‘Summary Tables’ button?
-
I don’t have such button in this blog.
The blog I’m talking about is based on WP 3.1.2, the French version which is using for the Stats the extension “WordPress.com Stats” 1.8.1.
I have another blog, this one is hosted by wordpress.com, and, actually I can see the button you are talking about (and I have no issue with the Stats with this one).
Do you think it could come from the French version of WP?
I have posted in flickr 2 screen shots:
– One showing the weekly stats: http://www.flickr.com/photos/55744121@N02/5823541537
– the other one showing the monthly stats: http://www.flickr.com/photos/55744121@N02/5824104426Thanks a lot for your help.

The WordPress.com Stats plugins is no longer under active development.
Please try Jetpack instead: http://jetpack.me/
It adds a few new features, may resolve your current problem, and should show that Summary Tables button.

Hi,
I added to my blog the Jetpack plugin, as you suggested, thx for the advice.
Unfortunately, it didn’t fix my issue: the monthly chart is still empty…:-(

Can we fix that? Thanks for your help

Can you log into your WordPress.com account and let us know if you can see the stats through there? (You can get there by going to the Site Stats page from the Global Dashboard.)

I checked out on my WordPress.com account and I can see the stats through there!
That’s a great news. It means that our data our not corrupted…
FYI, I didn’t patch any PHP code in my blog. How can we verify what the code is doing wrong when it tries to access to these monthly data?
Thanks again for the quality of your support.

In order to display all your stats, the Jetpack plugin must be able to contact WordPress.com to retrieve them. For some reason, the plugin is unable to connect and retrieve those stats pages.
Can you contact your hosting provider (free.fr) and ask that this be fixed? You should tell them that the Jetpack plugin needs to be able to make HTTP requests from the host to WordPress.com (on port 80) in order to function.

Can you explain me why the plugin can reach wordpress.com for daily and weekly data but it cannot for monthly? It doesn’t make sense to me.
Why do I have the same weird behavior with Jetpack and the Wp.com stats plugins.
Unfortunately, I cannot reach my free.fr provider. Actually, because I use free account I have no access to any support from them but the FAQ which says nothing about the port 80.
Thanks a lot for your time. -
Jetpack and the WordPress.com Stats plugin are actually the same for the most part, which is why neither work.
Some data is stored locally, but the plugin needs to establish an external connection to get the rest.
