My most recent post has not been published in the Reader Categories

I have written a post and put in a number of categories, however when I have been into the ‘Reader’ area to check that it has come out ok it hasn’t appeared in any of the categories I have put my post in. I have tried editing the post and removing the categories and then reselecting them but nothing has worked Please can you advise how I can solve this?
