My name doesn't link to my blog when I leave comments

  Hey there, I’m having trouble syncing my Gravatar profile into comments I post on other blogs.

  Every other comment on posts has a users name and links directly to a home page URL. However, mine isn’t a link and remains in plain black text.

  I’ve tried everything I can think of on Gravatar and can’t find any settings on the back end of my WP dashboard.

  Any ideas on how I’d fix this?

  Have you checked your web address at https://wordpress.com/me/account

  When I click that link, I get taken to WordPress where I have an account and information set up, but when I click “My Site”, it begins the set up for a new blog? I want to link my existing blog to my Gravtar profile that shows up on other blogs comments.

  Not sure if I’m missing something here… Thanks for your help!

  Hi there,

  You’re logged in as the WordPress.com username, horizonunknown. This account does not own any sites on WordPress.com, and also doesn’t have a website address defined on the account settings page.

  You don’t need to have a site on WordPress.com for your username to link to a site, but you must actually have that site filled in on the Web Address box on the account settings page, and for your account that box is currently blank.
