my name leads to the wrong site when I google joeycloudyblog

    when I search joeycloudyblog I am led to https://mentalnotes1.wordpress.com/2021/12/27/bondage/. How do I contact admin to fix this problem?

    Hi there,

    We are not in control of the info shown in Google listings, so they appear to be making that connection on their own. They admit they’re making a weak guess when they say they don’t have any great matches:

    Unfortunately we’re not able to take down that search result since it is not under our control. I did check the linked page (which does belong to a WordPress site) and checked the source code to confirm that ‘joeycloudyblog’ does not appear on it anywhere. With this in mind I’m not really sure why they are showing that search result but in any event you will need to ask that Google remove it.

    Hi again,

    I forgot to add that I thought it was odd that your site joeycloudyblog.wordpress.com is not showing up in search results for me. It’s public and visible on the internet and as a long standing blog I would expect it to show up.

    One thing you may wish to try is registering your site with Google directly. This may prompt them to index your site and its contents, and that would likely make your site appear in results instead of the listing they are showing now: https://wordpress.com/support/site-verification-services/#google-search-console
