My new blog is recording my Admin. visits, why???

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi, I have just opened a new second blog on my account. Everything is fine EXCEPT for some reason all my administrative visits are being recorded, which I do not want it to do. How can I stop this? I read at the forums that people have had this trouble before…

Please help me sort this annoying problem!

    Thanks,
    Krystal

http://krystalfractals.wordpress.com/ is a private blog so your own visits will be recorded in the stats.

Do Site Stats include my own visits to my blog?
Only for private blogs. For users with private blogs, your Site Stats page will show any visits that you have made to your own blog, as well the visits of other users who have access to your blog.

Ohh. Darn! I thought I fixed that! Well…It’s a public blog now, so I trust that will be sorted… thank you!!

You are welcome. When the numbers are small, even a few make a difference, but once the numbers grow, 5, 10, 50, or 100, well, they won’t matter so much in the big picture… Not having blogged on my personal site for months and months, my numbers are way way down to beginner levels. I’d say, however, that I’ve never blogged for the stats. Any rate, you are welcome to the advice.
