My new domain.
-
I just registered a new domain through my account here at wordpress. I mean to open a new site having nothing to do with this one. I was just learning the ropes here on my own. I want to keep this site, but I want another one to use differently. Can I pick a plan and a theme like I did here? Why does A notice on the ‘domains’ page of my account say ‘Traffic directed to your site will see your original domain…’ or something like that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello!
You can add a new, independent site to your account. There’s a guide on that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/create-a-blog/#adding-a-new-site-or-blog-to-an-existing-account
I hope that helps, and let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you joerepublic:
I tried that already. The thing is that, before I did that, I already purchased the domain through the “domains” tab. It automatically mapped my domain to my existing site, so now when I try to enter the domain name there in the “add website” tab, it tells me “sorry, that domain is already mapped to another wordpress site”. And it is. My new domain is mapped to my existing site. It is a problem of mapping. I shouldn’t have purchased the domain registration before adding the site. It mapped it automatically and now it is stuck. -

Hi raygravitt,
I’ve just replied to your email about the domain, I’ll follow up with you there about the next steps.
Thanks!

I apologize for not replying sooner. I should have posted in the forum that I fixed this myself. I simply opened guerrillagurunet.wordpress.com and then another option opened which allowed me to switch it over. I’m rolling strong now, just busy.
Thank you for your help -
Hi raygravitt,
No problem, I’m pleased to hear you’re all sorted. Thanks for letting me know :)
