My new domain won’t link to my account

  Hi,

  I made a school website but am unable to edit it at all. When I log in, it takes me to my website as a viewer but it is in no way linked to my account to edit. I’m at a loss. I need to edit it today for my classes! Help!

  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  And I paid for domain hosting and it says I have a free account….this is maddening.

  There is nothing maddening, you are simply logged in to the wrong account. Log out from current aahorner20735e08e1 and log in again to the account owning that site.

  If you can’t remember your login credentials, you must use the Transaction ID as described at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-help

  Unfortunately this also did not work when trying to recover my account. It just keeps saying reset password, it doesn’t allow me to do that, so I try to submit another recovery ticket and it goes in circles.

  Could you locate the transaction ID for payments made from the other account and send it to passwordhelp@wordpress.com? I couldn’t find any account recovery tickets for this site, so you can send the transaction ID to us directly at the email address above.
