My new posts do not seem to be generating an email

  I follow my own blog to see what my followers see when I publish a new post. Yesterday when I created a new post, I did not receive an email notification, and none of my usual followers seemed to receive it either, although I am yet to get confirmation.
  I have been through my settings on “create a new post” and I cannot see if this is turned on or off – it seems automatic? I have also been through my discussion page and I can’t see where this is turned on or off in there either.
  I have also stopped following my own blog and logged out to make sure I could put the right email address in to follow again, and I did not receive that email either. Although I am getting comments and new likes via that email for my site, so there seems to be a problem with the “follow post” function.
  Can anyone help please?

  Update: it does seem to be allowing me to follow via another email, but not the email I am logged in with for my site. This was working before, is there any reason it has stopped?
