  I am sure I bought the domain ‘Top Grade Construction Services’, @topgradeconstsvc, but since I can not find t nor my site, I am wondering if the sale did not go thru. So I need to find out how to use my domain name to get my site paid for and active. When I click on the get started link it takes me to the buy a domain name and says mine is already taken. How do I claim my domain and get my site started? Thanks for your help

  Hi there,

  I do not see a purchase under your account. What was the exact domain name URL that you tried to purchase? I want to check the status of that domain and see if it was registered.

  How do I get to the address that now says it is taken when I know it was taken by me?

  Thanks — topgradeconstructionservices.com is registered with WordPress.com but through another account.

  Please try logging out of WordPress.com, then log back in using the email address your purchase receipt was sent to. Once logged in to the correct account, the domain should be listed on the Manage Purchases page.

  The only other account it might have gone to is my personal account, I don’t know if I can list it here. But I do not know how to get to the right place to check to see if it is under my personal account since I never got an email or anything to show my purchase. How do I find it?

  The email would definitely have been sent on purchase, and it would have been sent to the email address on the account that made the purchase.

  I recommend checking both the inbox and spam folders of that email address.

  It was definitely _not_ the email address on the account you’re currently logged into, because the account you’re currently logged into did not purchase the domain.

  The account had gotten registered under one I have not used in years, that was the reason I could not find it. Crazy. Thanks everyone for helping me.
