  I added a post and deleted the other default posts and then put in a page for ‘about the author’ and hit publish. When I looked at it – barely anthing was there and as I had left it. What happened? This experience was deflating.

  Hi, from your site i can see that you have deleted the default “about us” page. However you haven’t updated the top menu item to point to the new page you have created.

  You will need to get into “Menu” options, remove the old “About Us” link and add a new one pointing the the new page.
