My new site is coming up as an old one, why?

    I created thislockdownlife.com three days ago. When I finally found it under ‘my sites’ it’s nestling under an existing blog which I shut down years ago. That one is Mostly Cloudy With Some Bright Spells.
    I can’t simply go to thislockdownlife.com and start creating it. I don’t understand it and I’ve spent all day tearing my hair out over it

    Hi there,

    You canceled that domain a couple of days ago and it’s now again available for registration.

    It looks like you had it connected to your juliettewills.wordpress.com site. If you want to use that domain on another site you need to create a new site (https://wordpress.com/start/) and register it again.

    If you want to use the Personal plan you purchased a few days ago, create the new site and let me know so I can transfer it to it.
