my new website

    I purchased jordangiants.com through Google. I am trying to set up my website through WordPress, but it is forcing the name of my website to be jordangiants.wordpress.com. I do no want the wordpress in there. That’s not the name of the website I registered for. How do I get that out of my website name?

    How do I get that out of my website name?

    No problem, you’ll just need a paid plan for that. First, choose a plan here:
    https://wordpress.com/plans

    Then add your domain here: https://wordpress.com/domains – you can choose to map or transfer as you like.

    Finally, since your domain is registered elsewhere, be sure to update its settings to point to our servers, and wait a few hours for that to take effect. Personally, I’d recommend doing that before beginning a transfer, though, if you intend to transfer the domain here.
