My new wordpress site

    I just signed up for my word press blog using my domain name http://www.jeannecarmen.com I signed up for the Jason Theme. When I type my domain in the url bar I don’t get my wordpress site, i get my old website display? How do I get the wordpress site to activate?

    The domain name servers of jeannecarmen.com are pointing to
    NS23.WORLDNIC.COM
    NS24.WORLDNIC.COM

    They should instead be point to WordPress.com name servers using these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/#2-ask-your-domain-provider-to-update-your-dns-settings

    As http://jeannecarmenblog.wordpress.com/ is taking me to jeannecarmen.com, I presume you already mapped your domain. So it is just a matter of updating your domain’s name servers to WordPress.com’s using the above instructions.

    Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

    Change the name servers as indicated above – then it will take a bit of time for the changes to reach the far corners of the internet – your access will be erratic during that time – you will also be the last one to see the changes

    It can take as long as 72 hours for DNS changes to become widely available. If you’re still not seeing your site loading at jeannecarmen.com, please wait a few more hours, clear your browser cache, and try again.
    Non-WordPress.com Nameservers

    Although jeannecarmen.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. If you wish to host your site at WordPress.com, you will need to update your nameservers as outlined below.

    It worked!!! Thank you guys so much.

    Now I just have to start adding stuff.

    I just have the home page done. And I really love the template.

    This all takes so much time. And I work full time.

    I may ask a few more questions once I start adding stuff.
