My Nurse Tree Design blog site is on WordPress.com – to use Ignition deck plug in must I host my own

I want to use Ignition Deck plug-in to raise funds. It appears that I must invest in my own server and maintenance and create a WordPress.org site to do it. Do you offer any options for my current blog site on WordPress.com?

Hi there!
Do you offer any options for my current blog site on WordPress.com?
If you are curious about fundraising possibilities at WordPress.com, you might look into a Donate Now PayPal button, which can be added here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
If you’re curious about how to make the move from WordPress.com to WordPress.org, this guide will step you through the process of moving your site to a WordPress.org instance:

As we only support sites hosted here at WordPress.com, all issues with the new site – including the importing of the file – must be taken to the WordPress.org support community:
If you’d like assistance moving your WordPress.com site to WordPress.org, we have a service called Guided Transfer that does all the work for you. Check it out to see if it’s right for you:

I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

Thanks Robyn! The donate button is new info for me and may be the best early solution. As my enterprise gains more traction I will seriously consider moving over to WordPress.org.

Michael,
I think that’s an awesome idea! Use the tools here, use our support staff to help you get your feet planted (no pun intended, I promise), and when you outgrow our tools…you can move on to a self-hosted site if you need more plugins!
I’m wishing you all the best with your site and project. Take care :)
