My Ocadia theme does’t work!?
-
Hi,
I am just using WordPress Weblog. And I choose Ocadia as my weblog theme. But there is a strange thing. There is two columns originally in Ocadia theme, but my weblog just has one column. The disappearing (right-side) column is on the bottom of the webpage. Did anyone meet this problem? Can you help me? I really want to use this theme. Thank you. This is my weblog: http://njovercomer.wordpress.com/

Since I cannot read your blog, it makes it difficult to tell what is wrong, but in some themes, if there is a missing ending HTML tag, it will cause the sidebar to either disappear or move to the bottom of the page.
This FAQ covers the typical reasons this happens: http://faq.wordpress.com/2008/05/30/why-is-my-sidebar-at-the-bottom-of-my-posts/
You can use the W3C validation report to help in figuring out what ending tags may be missing (it lists quite a few): http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fnjovercomer.wordpress.com%2F&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0

Dear thesacredpath, I’ve tried your way of FAQ solution and the W3C validation report. FAQ solution still could not solve this problem. The W3C validation report did find some errors, but I guessed that should be okay.
So I apply a new weblog: http://just4test000.wordpress.com/ .
I post nothing and use “Ocadia” theme. And the problem exists!
So that is due to IE 6.0 ?Dear bubel, could you ensure this for me? I will be relieved. Thanks a lot. ^^

IE6 doesn’t play well with a lot of stuff, including wordpress.com. If possible, you should upgrade to IE7 or FireFox
