My old account, coachpinhead, was suspended and I can login no more

  When I try to login, it says “site suspended”

  I am absolutely confident that no spam or illegal content was ever distributed/posted by me.

  account was only used to post (non-spam) comments in other blogs.

  Old (now defunct) username is
  coachpinhead

  Like I said, i’m not 100% sure of the domain – I only registered for Gravatar support across wordpresses and (likely to my peril) missed the option of registering for account only

  Now the thing won’t let me comment on wordpress.com without logging in, and won’t let me log in (displaying little red “site suspended”)

  apparently, my email and login are still in the database (trying to register a new user with username coachpinhead does not succeed)

  Accounts are not suspended here, only blogs. If you can remember the password and it was your account before, you should be able to log in.

  I used the “reset password” feature just to make sure.

  Tried to log in with username + new password.

  Ooooookay.
  I am 100% confident that at no point did I spam or distribute illegal content…
  But now I at least have a trail to follow
