My old blog is broken maybe because double installation. What to do?

  My blog is broken. I installed another wordpress blog accidently on the same server to another directory and apparently the old one ceased to work. Can I restore the old blog somehow? The new one is not important.

  More than one install can be ran on the same server – depends on how things are configured and how the server is configured – BUT

  The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

  Wow! Thanks for a quick response. I tried to go to wordpress.org, but it seems I do not have an account there with my login name or email. How can my site be hosted there if I never had anything to do with wordpress.org? I can also see my blog when I log in here at wordpress.com. Are you sure about the hosting at wordpress.org?
