  It looks like there’s no current owner of that domain and you should be able to register it again, as new. Please give that a try and write back if you need more help.

  Does WordPress host domains? How do I go about it? I am not tech savvy.

  WordPress.com, in whose forums you’re posting now, is a hosting provider for the open source WordPress software. We are also a domain registrar, so you can register that domain with us, and also host your site here at that domain.

  But that said, you used to have that domain registered and hosted at another provider – I can see an old Jetpack-connection for a site using that domain in your account, but that site was not hosted on our servers, nor was the domain registered with us. If you’re trying to get back that existing site, you need to contact the hosting provider where you used to have that site hosted, as they’re the only people who might be able to help you restore it.
